Yummy, Yummy... Braiden's Got Rice Cereal in His Tummy

We had an appointment with Braiden's GI doctor on Tuesday. Everything is going great and he is now completely off of Zantac. Braiden is a terrific eater who enjoys eating every 3-4 hours, which at night time is not fun! Apparently he is old enough and weighs enough, 14 lbs. 2 oz. that he shouldn't need to eat that often. So, the GI doctor suggested that we begin introducing rice cereal to Braiden. Boy does our little piglet love it! He is so much fun to feed. I've never seen a baby enjoy food so much. He is already trying to take the spoon from us to feed himself, which is entertaining and very messy as you can see in the pictures! We gave him rice cereal for dinner last night and he actually slept for 8 1/2 hours, which is the longest he has ever slept! Three cheers for rice cereal!

Braiden enjoyed his rice cereal so much the other night that we couldn't take his spoon away from him. He insisted on taking it with him to bath time and didn't let it go until it was time to dry off!
