A huge thank you to everyone that was praying for our little angel. Braiden's surgery was a success! We were worried that Braiden was going to be one angry little boy considering he was not allowed to have anything to eat from 4am until surgery, which was not until 8:30am and our little guy eats every 3-4 hours! We were surprised at how well he did. He never once fussed. He was perfect that morning. Almost like he knew that mommy was stressed enough worrying about the surgery that he wasn't going to upset me more by crying. Again, he showed us what a strong little boy he is. Braiden went back for surgery around 8:30am and the surgeon came out to let us know that surgery went well at about 9:10am. We went back to see our little guy resting peacefully in recovery at 9:45. We were supposed to be admitted to a room within 30 minutes of us seeing him, however, we ended up being in recovery until 4:30pm due to no rooms being available! What a pain. Braiden was in great spirits in the hospital and is such a trooper. The only tough day he had was Friday evening. Since then, he's been doing wonderfully! We go back on the 25th for a post-op visit.
