A Special Post Just for Uncle Phil

This video is for Uncle Phil. Since the day Braiden was born, Phillip wanted to know when he'd be big enough to throw a ball. So, here he is throwing a baseball :-) He can throw a lot better than in this video, but Mommy tired him out with throwing before I thought to turn on the camera! Also, notice... we have a lefty and as Uncle Phil has informed us, he'll make more money that way in the Pros :-)

Braiden had friends over the other day. Alysia and Isaiah came to play :-) Braiden loves having company and just gets a kick out of other kids!

A Night Out for Mommy and Daddy

Dave and I are so fortunate to be parishioners at such a wonderful church. Everyone there is so friendly and we have really come to know many of the families that attend on a personal level. This past Sunday, Dave and I were able to go out for dinner and a movie thanks to Auntie Ailid :-) She is one of the wonderful people we have met through church. She has two grown boys who both live in different states. Her and her husband miss having kids at home and they have fallen in love with Braiden. She has been offering to watch Braiden for a while now and we finally took her up on the offer. Braiden had a great time and enjoyed playing with the kitty's and little pug!

Special Visitors

This past weekend we had special visitors! My Aunt Kathy and Uncle Ken came to visit. We had a nice time and did a lot in the two days they were here. On Saturday we went to the beach. As you can tell from the pictures, it was a bit windy :-)

Since the weather has finally started to get nice, Dave has spent a lot of time out in the back yard. Braiden loves going out with him and gets a kick out of the fish! We are looking forward to many days outside :-)

Rainy and Relaxing Sunday

Last night we went to the St. Johns Town Center for dinner with Megan and Rich. We had a nice evening. Braiden absolutely adores Rich, so here are a couple pictures of Braiden and his pal, Rich :-)

I can not believe my baby boy is almost 10 months old! I've got to figure out how to slow time down. Here is Braiden before church this morning. What a sweet and happy boy he is!

Braiden took a two hour nap in his crib. When he woke up he and Dave sat down on the couch to watch basketball and they both fell asleep! It's a rainy day here, so napping is the thing to do.

Beautiful Day and a Pony Ride

What a beautiful Saturday! We got out and enjoyed the weather in St. Augustine at the Lighthouse Museum Festival. Braiden went on his first pony ride and loved it :-)

St. Patty's Day Celebration

Last night we went to an Irish Pub down the road from us. We met with with Rich and Megan. There was music, games, food, drinks, and fun! We all had a great time, especially Braiden :-)

Braiden's Special Friend

Braiden has a new special friend that visits him daily. It's a neighborhood cat :-) The cat usually scares me as I'll be playing on the floor with Braiden and when I turn to see what he's looking at, the cat is staring at him through our sliding glass door!

Fun Day at the Park

On Sunday, Braiden had a play date at the park. He and his buddy Daniel had a great time swinging and enjoying the nice weather :-)

Braiden would live outside if we let him! The other day we went outside and when we came inside all he did was cry and roll around on the floor, angry at me. So, finally we decided to put him in the stroller and take a walk. Can you tell by his expression that he was not happy with me?

This picture was a surprise to me as I was downloading. We had a long day the other day and by early evening, Braiden and I took some quiet time together. I believe we were watching NickJr. and we fell asleep together. I love these moments :-)

Steph's Bachelorette Party

Last weekend my wonderful husband offered to stay home all day and even through the night with Braiden so I could go out for Steph's bachelorette party! We had a great time. Congrats Steph and Dave, we can't wait for April 10th :-)
