Valentine's Day

We had a very uneventful Valentine's Day. Dave and I had planned a nice dinner at Caps on the Water, which is a beautiful outside restaurant over looking the water in St. Augustine. We've had great weather lately, but go figure, the day we plan to be outside it rains the entire day and night! So, needless to say, our plans were canceled. Since I did not feel like cooking and we didn't feel like battling the crowds, we went to a very early and casual dinner at Olive Garden. We had a nice dinner and a very relaxing and low key day.

Dave got me beautiful roses, a cookie cake(which he ate), and a card. He was also extremely sweet and got a card for Braiden: ) Can you tell that we can not wait for him to be here? We're already celebrating things as if he's here.

During the day we had a special Valentine's Day visitor who brought us delicious Valentine cup cakes!

Happy Birthday Sonya

This past Friday Dave and I went out in Ponte Vedra to celebrate Sonya's birthday. We had a nice time visiting with everyone. It was an early night for us, but everyone else celebrated well into the night!

IT'S A......

Today was the BIG day! We found out if we were having a boy or a girl.

Those of you that participated in our online pole were correct if you voted.... BOY!!!!

That's right, we are proud to announce that we will be welcoming a precious baby boy in July! We could not be more thrilled. It was very exciting to see our very active little guy on the monitor today during the ultrasound. He is no small baby : ) They have actually moved my due date up to July 12th due to his measurements and have put me at 18 weeks instead of 17 weeks.

Everything looks great. I will go back on March 5th. Until then, I'm sure I will find some time to fit a little shopping in, which I already did a little of today!

I couldn't resist picking up a few adorable things for my little man today! Also, a very big Thank You to Megan, Addams, and Blake for the adorable outfit, blue teddy, and "I Love You, Goodnight" book. Braiden will love all three : )

Supposed to be 17 weeks today... but, I am 18 week and growing!

Dave was jealous that I always get a picture of me, so he insisted on me taking one of him and his "baby carrying" arms! What a proud dad...

Super Bowl Sunday

Our Super Bowl was pretty low key this year. We stayed home and had a few friends over to watch the game and of course, enjoy snacks and Phillip's chili, which is always a big hit! I was happy at the end of the game since I walked away with a little money from the football squares : )
