4-D Ultrasound

What an experience today was. We went to Discovery Ultrasound to see Braiden in 4-D. He is pretty darn cute : ) While much of the time he didn't feel like cooperating and even looked like he let out a yell at us, we got some great pictures, and for my mom... He is definitely a BOY, no more looking at anything pink, just in case : ) He has full lips, and hardly any hair, a perfect round head and looks like he already has his daddy's height- sure did look squished in there. He is facing with his head down, so here's to hoping he stays that way and doesn't decide to be breech!

On to the pictures... Unfortunately, the way Braiden has positioned himself, the umbilical cord is right next to his face in all of the pictures.

March of Dimes Walk

This past weekend Dave's company participated in the 5 mile March of Dimes Walk. Originally Dave had planned on walking it by himself, but when I got word of the walk, I immediately said I would be participating with him! I had done the walk in past years, so why would being 7 months pregnant stop me : ) I am very proud to say that I completed the 5 mile walk with very few complaints! I only got a little nervous when we reached the 4th mile marker and my fingers had swollen and looked like miniature sausages. Guess it was just because it was 80 degrees out! All in all it was a good weekend and we walked for a good cause. Going further, I think I will stick to events in air conditioning until Braiden arrives : )
I had an appointment last Thursday and never updated. All is well. I passed the glucose test and no need to change my thyroid medicine. Braiden's heart rate was a steady 140 bpm, which has been pretty constant. We are extremely excited for tomorrow. We will be going for our 4-D ultrasound! I will post pictures and updates tomorrow.

Baby Shower in Virginia

This past weekend Dave and I drove to Virginia. Morgan came along for the ride to surprise my mom! The drive there took a long 13 hours due to construction in North Carolina. Sitting in a car at 28 weeks pregnant is not all that fun and Morgan was better behaved than I was.

We had a great time being home. It was wonderful to see my family and visit with friends!

My baby shower was beautiful- Thanks Mom! Braiden is one lucky little guy. He got so many nice gifts. Thank you to everyone for showering us with presents. His room is full of things!
