Round Two of Fishing

This morning after church we took Braiden to get his hair cut! This is his 4th haircut and this is the first time that they used clippers to do the entire cut... that's how much hair he had. they touched it up with some scissors.
This is a before picture...As you can tell, he was not happy about having to sit for a picture.

He was PERFECT for the entire haircut. All of the hairdressers were so impressed. At the end of his cut, he said thank you to the girl and asked her for some spray(hairspray that is)!

The Only Time Braiden Sits is to...

READ! It's very rare that Braiden sits still, but he absolutely loves picking out a book and sitting quietly. It usually doesn't last long, but even for a few minutes, the peace and quiet and calmness in the house is nice :-) Dave and I were getting ready for church this morning and all of a sudden the family room went from loud to quiet. When I walked out to see what Braiden was doing, this is what I found...

I quit taking pictures and went back to getting ready. When I was done getting ready, I walked out to him falling asleep in the tent! I just LOVE him!!!!

Pro Fisherman

With the help of Daddy, Braiden caught two fish in our backyard the other afternoon. He was beyond excited and just wanted to look at them and touch them! The boy is FEARLESS and lives to be outside!!!!

Braiden got a hold of one of my scarves yesterday and insisted on wearing it on his head. So, I tied it and we told him he looked like a pirate. He thought it was hilarious!
(Yes... he has cuts on his face. They're scratch marks from one of his pals at school)

JU vs. UNF

Last Wednesday night we took Braiden to another JU basketball game. The fun part about this game was that it was Mommy's school vs. Daddy's! Braiden had a great time. It was a very close scoring game, but in the end Daddy's school won :-)

JU Basketball

Yesterday afternoon we headed to a JU basketball game. Braiden went exactly one year ago. What a difference a year makes! He loved every minute of the game. He cheered right along with all of the loud spectators saying, GO JU! A couple times he messed up and yelled, GO IRISH... OOPPS!
