At the Park

Since Braiden loves being outside, we took him to the park. Of course, he absolutely loved playing and watching all of the other kids play! We've gone twice, and I feel like it will become a regular occurrence on days when we have nice weather! Here are a bunch of pictures from both trips to the park in St. Augustine.

Birthday Party

This past weekend we celebrated Blake's 2nd birthday! Braiden had a great time hanging out with all of the kids!

Enjoying the Cool Weather in FL

All last week we had beautiful weather! It was in the 50's, perfect for taking walks and hanging out in the fresh air. Since Braiden was 5 months old, he's shown an interest in standing. Lately, that interest has turned in to WALKING!!! So, we put sneakers on him (thank you Kareem for the sneaks) and take him outside and let him walk down the street. He's going to be the smallest walking baby : )

A Bump in the Road

Our sweet boy continues to be the light of our life! He is such a happy and tough little boy. Since December 3rd, Braiden's been battling back to back ear infections... if we're counting, 4 double ear infections to be exact! So, we are now going to meet with an ENT and discuss the possibility of surgery for tubes. Even with double ear infections back to back, our little boy continues to smile and giggle throughout the day. What a joy to be a mommy to such a perfect little guy!

We Found a New Babysitter

On Sunday we went over to Dave and Steph's to hang out and watch football. We had a nice time together. Best of all, we found ourselves a new babysitter for Braiden, Uncle Dave! Dave offered to hold Braiden and the two sat in the Lazy Boy watching football. Braiden was so comfortable he fell asleep!

Braiden's Aunt Kathy bought him a Penn State outfit to wear for the game on January 1st. Braiden wore it proudly with his bear and brought the team to victory!

Happy New Year

I'm a few days late, but Happy New Year to all of our family and friends! 2009 was a wonderful year, as we welcomed our precious little miracle, Braiden Christopher into the world. We are so anxious to see what 2010 has in store for us!
While we were home in Virginia for the holiday's my parents were gracious enough to offer to keep Braiden over night for New Years and let Dave and I travel to Annapolis, MD to bring in the New Year with Shannon and Bob. We were so very excited to get away for a night of fun. Annapolis is a beautiful place and we had a great afternoon walking around the town and grabbing a few drinks. Unfortunately, later in the night I rang in the New Year with a migraine headache and Dave and I ended our night short of midnight to head back to my parents. Not exactly the New Years we had hoped for, but there's always next year : )
Thank you Shannon, Bob, and the Jenkin's for having us. We enjoyed our short time there!
